Die Rockwiese ist das Festival inmitten der Innenstadtfete und bringt das Open-Air-Gefühl nach Bad Oeynhausen. Zwei Tage lang teilen sich zehn Bands aus der Region die Bühne hinter der Auferstehungskirche – am Freitag eher alternativ und rockig, am Samstag dann härter und metallisch. Seit 2011 gestaltet das Team vom Begegnungszentrum Druckerei das Programm auf der Rockwiese – genauso engagiert wie ehrenamtlich. Jeder Euro Umsatz fließt also in die Veranstaltung und damit in die lokale Szene. Ganz nach unserem Motto: Wir machen Kultur.
